For online appointment booking, we use the service medatixx webtermin (x.webtermin) of the company:

For online appointment booking, the practice is the controller within the meaning of the GDPR (DSGVO). The following data is collected:

Information on whether you have already visited the practice (yes/no)
Who the appointment is for (patient themselves or another person)
Gender (male/female/diverse)
First name and last name
Telephone number (for follow-up questions)
Email address (for confirmation link)
Address (street, house number, postal code, city)
Desired appointment time and appointment type
Optional notes to the practice (free-text field, max. 1000 characters)
Technical access data (IP address, browser type, time of access)

The data processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO (implementation of pre-contractual measures or contract fulfillment) as well as Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO (legitimate interest in efficient appointment scheduling).

A data processing agreement (DPA) pursuant to Art. 28 DSGVO has been concluded with medatixx. The medatixx DPA was reviewed by the Hessian Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (most recently in 2022).
